| Then you move on to Posture & Workstation Set-Up. This is a vital part of the strategy, making sure you really understand what good posture is for you. And how to set up your workstation so it’s best for you.

From here, you can go to Your DSE Assessment. As well as satisfying all legal requirements of the Assessment, our version is problem-solving and also gives you useful hints and tips. It’s worth having a look at, even if you don’t have to do it right now. |
Without the DSE Assessment, all this will have taken about 10 minutes.
And although you won’t need to read them every day, these pages are there for you to refer back to.

| Where you go next depends on whether you have pain now, or whether you’re not in pain and want to work on prevention.Choose either:
No Pain – Pain Prevention or
Common Pain Problems.
Both of these give you the advice and help you need, and then the specific exercises to achieve your goals. |
The Pain Prevention Exercises are to be done daily. They only take a few seconds, and they’re just small movements, yet they are really effective. They don’t interfer with your work, but will make such a difference!
Bending in sitting - Key Pain Prevention exercise |
| The Common Problems Advice and Treatment Exercises are more intensive – but they’ve got to do more. It’s like a trip to your physiotherapist without leaving your desk. So you get the treatment you need immediately. No waiting for an appointment. |
